DOPPLER RADAR TRAINING SYSTEM

Objectives

  • Study of Pulse radar System.
  • Study of speed and direction of a moving target.
  • Study of Reflections of moving targets.

DRTS consists of:

  • Doppler radar signal processing unit.
  • Doppler radar unit with moving target set up (i.e horn antenna , RF Transceiver)
  • Shielded Cables.
  • Moving Target (velocity simulator).
  • LAB-Doppler radar Software CDs.
  • Instruction manual.

  • Scans, calculates and displays all measurements.
  • Demonstrates and teaches moving target concepts.
  • LAB-Doppler radar Software is provided with the trainer for real time measurement using PC.
  • High speed Data Acquisition Card is provided with the trainer (inbuilt).
  • Shielded cables are provided to avoid ESD.

DOPPLER RADAR SIGNAL PROCESSING UNIT –USB BASED :

Doppler radar signal processing unit will be supplied along with the trainer to log the reflected signal from the targets and will be processed on to the computer using USB port.

LAB-Doppler radar software provides you,

  • Interfacing high velocity Data Acquisition Card to computer.
  • Study of speed measurement in various units.
  • Target identification.
  • Dopper Shift Frequency.
  • Data logging in Table.

  • Digital Multimeter.

LAB DOPPLER RADAR SOFTWARE:

Lab-Doppler radar is a software application developed for Educational purpose to help the Students to learn about DOPPLER RADAR PROCESSING SYSTEM.

  • Introduction to the Experimental Doppler radar System.
  • Study of Pulse Doppler radar System, outputs can be observed in the CRO.
  • Study of Transmitter and Receiver.
  • Study of reflections from artificial targets, outputs can be observed in the CRO.
  • Study of measurement of velocity of a moving target with no of targets, outputs can be observed in the CRO.
