Objectives

The purpose of this experiment is

  • To construct single phase half & fully controlled bridge rectifier. Two SCRs are used in two arms of the bridge. During positive cycle the firing angle of SCR1 can be controlled and observed. During negative half cycle the firing angle of SCR2 can be controlled and observed in CRO. Similarly both positive and negative half cycles of applied AC signal can be rectified.
