Objective:

  • To construct and study the operation of Adaptive Delta Modulation and Demodulation.

Introduction:

  • This trainer provides all necessary inputs and connections for students to study Delta, Adaptive Delta and Delta Sigma Modulation Demodulation. In signal communication operating at low frequencies or speech communication a saving in bandwidth can be resulted using Delta Modulation and its associated techniques because this requires single encoding of sample. This trainer cover Delta, Adaptive Delta and Delta Sigma Modulation and Demodulation.

    These variables help in comparing the effect of sampling frequency, quantisation noise, signal to noise ratio, frequency slope overload, amplitude overload on various modulation systems. Various test points at input of every block are provided for easy observation by oscilloscope.
